RW Character System is a complete character management solution developed for RedM VORP Core servers.
It replaces the standard VORP character flow and combines character creation, character selection, spawn selection, appearance customization, clothing stores, barber shops, shopping cart, and wardrobe management in one professionally designed resource.
The system features a cinematic western interface, live in-game character previews, native RedM prompts, configurable shop NPCs, and secure server-controlled transactions.
New players are taken to a cinematic creator scene where they can choose a male or female character, enter identity information, select their heritage and skin tone, customize facial proportions, and configure their complete appearance.
Hair, beard, eyes, makeup, lifestyle overlays, teeth, body build, whistle, and clothing can all be previewed directly on the live character. When creation is complete, the server validates and saves the character before opening the spawn selector.
Returning players are displayed as live characters wearing their saved clothing and appearance.
Players can focus on each character, review identity and job information, select an existing character, create a new one when a slot is available, or delete a character through a confirmation window.
Deleted characters disappear immediately and the available slot count updates automatically.
After selecting or creating a character, players can spawn at their last saved position, a configured town, a custom server location, or a first-character fallback point.
Configured locations can include cinematic city overview cameras. The system prepares collision and ground placement before releasing the player.
Players approach a configured clothing store NPC and interact through the native RedM prompt.
The store opens a cinematic catalog where clothing categories, models, and colour variations can be previewed on the live character. Multiple changes are collected in a shopping cart so players can review every selected item and the final price before confirming the purchase.
Purchased combinations can be saved directly as complete wardrobe outfits. Leaving with unsaved changes restores the last purchased appearance.
The wardrobe displays saved outfits created from purchased clothing.
Players can preview, equip, or delete their outfits. Every outfit stores the complete clothing combination and component tint information, ensuring all pieces change together. Equipped outfits remain active after closing the wardrobe or reconnecting.
Players interact with a configured barber NPC through the native prompt. The character uses a barber chair animation while the camera moves to a close-up angle.
Hair, beard, colours, and makeup can be previewed before payment. Cancelling restores the complete saved skin, face, hair, beard, overlays, and clothing.
RW Character requires VORP Core, oxmysql, Lua 5.4 support, and OneSync-compatible server-side entity natives. Weather synchronization is optional.
The official VORP character resource must be disabled because RW Character replaces its runtime flow. Existing VORP character records remain compatible and do not require migration.
Character limits, spawn locations, NPCs, shop positions, cameras, prices, currencies, outfit limits, loading settings, security distances, and language options are configurable.
Real feedback from RedM communities using Ranchwork scripts in production.
Clean setup, fast support, and the scripts feel polished enough for a live economy server.
The open source option made it easy for our developers to customize everything to our roleplay style.
Good documentation, quick Discord replies, and the resource worked smoothly after install.
